DCC Beginners Bike Mechanic Evening
It's getting to that time of year when we dig our bikes out and get back on the roads. If your bike has come out of hibernation with a flat tyre, or skipping gears this is the perfect evening to learn a bit about your bike and boost your mechanical skills. We'll cover the basics in this session. Removing an innertube, fixing a puncture, replacing the tube and tyre. Adjusting your caliper brakes, to prevent squeals and poor braking. Adjusting front and rear derailleur. Poor cable tension is the most common reason for improper gear shifting and easy to remedy. You don't need to bring any tools or bikes to this eveing. Craig Hardie of Hardie Bikes will be helping and passing on his professional knowledge to us.
