This year the club had 4 such outstanding members namely; Alan Affleck, Neil Daly, Adrian Hay and Ross Thomson.
Club members voted and Neil was announced as Club Person of the Year for 2018. Neil has been pivotal in setting up the cycle hub, getting DCI funding as well as committing hours to coaching club members at the FCP and turbo sessions. The members have recognised Neil’s work and this award reinforces the recognition that Neil deserves.
Finally, a special award was made to Edwin Harrison, presenting him with honorary lifetime membership. Edwin and his wife Agnes were guests of the club and enjoyed chatting with members and Ed was very proud to accept the membership.
